What is LSR?
LSR（Liquid silica gel）is relative to solid high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, which is liquid before curing and elastomer after curing.
The features of LSR
1. Non-toxic, can be used for medical and food purposes:
2. Non-toxic to human body, odorless and tasteless;
3. 3. Environmental safety, degradable;
4. No toxic and harmful substances are produced during combustion (combustion products are mainly SiO2);
5. Tear strength, resilience, yellowing resistance, water resistance and waterproof;
6. Weather resistance: Because si-O bond energy is high, higher than ultraviolet radiation energy, is not easy to be ultraviolet and ozone decomposition, so it has good uv resistance, ozone resistance and aging resistance;
7. Temperature resistance: good heat and cold resistance, in the temperature range of -50℃~ 200℃ long-term use still has good elasticity, no melting and embrittlement (special products can reach -110℃);
8. Electrical insulation performance: excellent electrical insulation, its dielectric loss, voltage resistance, arc resistance, corona resistance, resistivity are among the best insulation materials, and the electrical performance is very little affected by temperature and frequency;
9. Physiological inertia: Polysiloxanes are among the least active compounds known. They are very resistant to biological aging, have no rejection reaction with animal body, and have good anticoagulant ability.
10. Air permeability: silicone film has better air permeability than ordinary rubber and plastic waxing film;
11. LSR has low viscosity, rapid curing, shear thinning and high coefficient of thermal expansion before curing, allowing for mass, rapid and repetitive mechanical production by injection molding.
